Yea he was but in state and tom Herman building what seems to be a good team he wanted to be a part of Texas ride back to being good. Can't blame him now our crosshairs are only on ross don't want to miss that shot bc he is a stud.

Based on our track record with wide receivers at the college level and the NFL, I am fairly certain there is a line of 4-star receivers who would love a Clemson offer if Ross goes elsewhere.

Man that sucks I wanted him and ross but don't even think that would work numbers wise. And kinda saw this coming been trending that direction. Just kinda nervous we down to really ross now as main/bout only wr I can think of. I mean wr is deep enough to maybe miss on this 18 class and go after few or couple in 19 class just a thought but would still love ross and think we have a real shot at him

Let's not forget that we already have Derion Kendrick. Adding one more is solid, but we're not desperate.
There are no seniors on our roster, and only Cain looks to have potential to be an early departure.
We have great depth at WR, and as has been said many times. Our offense will always be attractive to talented WR's

Great research there Brennan. Lol. They literally have barely a pulse of an offense, but I see him being too big as a wr and eventually turning into a TE. Ross was always our #1 target, but in light of this news I don't think we need to put all our cards into one basket like we did White.

It's a little different with Herman at the helm. Buechele is a plenty capable quarterback and Herman will open things up. I think they will be pretty solid in 2017.

Don't act like that. Tom Herman is turning Texas around and think we will get them back to winning that big 12 he's a Texas kid that wanted to be part of that. salty is a bad favor to pick. They got a good Young qb in place he felt that was best for him, they are on the up woils love to meet them in major bowl or playoff to add another traditional blueblood to the taken down list!

under achieving programs in CFB. They had one or two good years under Mack Brown/Vince Young. Maybe Herman will do something, but in the last 38 years (my memory,) they are so average.

Towards end of brown era and since they been down but they didn't have maybe one or two good season with Mack/Vince. Mack had a great 5 year stretch You forget about guy named colt McCoy who took them to a title b4 he was hurt during first couple drives and was cheated out of a title appearance the year b4?by getting jumped by OU and OU was destroyed by UF UT wouldn't have been. Always kinda liked Texas y'all forget Mack Brown was the guy who took Dabo in and showed him practices and insight while stoops turned us down. For that I respect Texas, when they were good and playing for titles they didn't think they were too good for us like OU did so I respect UT and would like to see them become the big 12 leader again can't stand OU maybe since stoops is gone might get less dislike but still really don't like OU.
