that recruits higher on the board are cooling off and we need fall back prospects, I.e., Savion Smith, Trayvon Mullen, Nigel Warrior or Marquil Osbourne are cooling on Clemson

good, better, best is a matter of opinion and it varies according to who is doing the evaluating. obviously, this coaching staff's opinion was that he didn't warrant an earlier offer. i'm all for in-state talent, but that talent has got to continue to raise the level of play because in-state talent alone won't win many championships. I would rather have Bryan Edwards than Diondre Overton, but that's just my opinion which means nothing to the coaches. I was on the Grady Jarrett bandwagon when most only considered him to be a body to fill slots. now that he has been offered, he still has to accept, what if he doesn't?

We should have offered him earlier, he's been ballin out all week at the Shrine Bowl. You should have known Alexander would be gone look at his economic background. Mullen talked but wouldn't even visit there might be issues with him. So why let a speedy guy that can be coached up leave when he's in your backyard. Hope we land him.

I think we all know that Alexander is probably headed out. Tankersley probably not. Guys, you got to keep reloading, this staff has become very good at bringing in solid players and solid citizens. Clemson has a formula and every once in a while, one slips through but is usually "found out" quickly. I cant even begin to guess why anyone would choose to play for usuck over Clemson, but remember, we are dealing with kids. Mullen to play prob for Louisville over Clemson? The reasons are unknown. Family? Playing time? unknown reasons? Watched a lot of Pride film, the kid looks good.
