Every year Dabo & Venables quietly stay on some highly rated prospects...they stay under the radar to remove the target from their backs, and move in during the late stages.
Okudah is one of those. Perfect fit for Clemson's system, good kid, and a quiet Clemson target.

That would be an "Open Me First" package for sure. The key part is, it would be the best decision for his life that he ever made as an athlete, because it will impact his entire life, and not just his life on a football field.

If he is smart, he will listen to that bug. He can make no better decision in his life that is not faith based (and he will have that influence at Clemson, too, if he wants it).

Best motor and best instincts I ever saw in a HS player. I hope he has the maturity to recognize what Clemson offers. He can make no better decision. Granted, he can be a # NFL pick after playing at several schools, but he won't get the character building and life lessons anywhere else that he will get at Clemson. That is just a fact.

In January we did not even make his top 10 list. Now we are in his top 6; so you fellows are correct in assuming that some of our "Men of '17" have been doing some solid recruiting.

I don't think we have a chance with Devon Hunter but if he and Okudah were to commit before CJ Avery would we be done with him? I hope not seems like a great kid and a Clemson fit.
