Dominant performances through last 3 games of the tourney, being down by double digits and some how coming back to win in all those games. Total collapse by a couple of thier opponents. Shouldn’t have even sniffed the championship game or won. Now we get to hear the sec beat their chest about how they are the greatest conferences ever. When you get 14 teams in the field you should probably win it all but I don’t think Florida was the best team in the country this year. It was either Duke or Auburn but the best team doesn’t always win it. Hopefully Brownell gets his guys ready for another tournament bid next year.

You obviously are clueless. The best team in the country won this tournament. They’ve been the best team all year. They beat Auburn twice and are the most mentally tough team in America.

The game last night was very similar to the Duke-Houston game, but last night Houston was the team that made the mistakes. Would the story have been different if Proctor had made the free throws and it was a Duke-Florida matchup, maybe. All 4 teams were very, very good and 100% deserving of their #1 seeds and the Final Four was great basketball.

Florida put on a great run to end the season. You can't deny that.

After losing to Tennessee February 1st, they only lost one game.

The won 18 of their last 19 games.

In that stretch, they beat:

> #1 Auburn on the road by 9
> #22 MSU on the road by 13
> #12 TA&M at home by 19
> #7 Bama on the road by 5
> #21 Mizzou in SEC tourney by 14
> #5 Bama in SEC tourney by 22
> #8 Tennessee (avenging Feb loss) in SEC finals by 9

> #8 seed and 2-time defending NCAA champ UCONN
> #4 seed Maryland by 16
> #3 seed Tx Tech
> #1 overall seed Auburn
> #1 seed Houston

Florida just beat the toughest team in America, so they deserve the ring, no matter how they got there. The Gators battled and survived in the same manner all the way through and even a great 35-5 Houston team could not hold them off.
