understand transferring rules in Florida high schools are very non-restrictive. If that's the case we will have a replication, to an extent, in Florida High School Football to what we are seeing in College Sports. Bidders from other high schools buying players to come transfer to them. What could possibly go wrong?

IMG probably shelled out some big bucks for lobbying for this.

Seems like their model has been evolving to an agency of sorts for HS to college. This will allow them to officialize that and make bank prior and during now in addition to the later. With their position in many teams' recruiting they could also conceivably act as go-betweens also with their graduates once they're in the D1 ranks as they would be in on position needs and program budgets.

usually school zoning has something to do with that..... Unless the NIL pays to move the family to the new zone.

uga always has had those "incentives" available to their athletes. Cars, houses, custom vans, cash, all have been there for decades. Now it seems that it suddenly is legal. I'm just about done with all this. It's going to save me a bunch of money every year, and I'm sure I'll miss seeing some of the games, but this is not what I signed up for so many years ago.

The re-zoning happened a lot in middle Ga from 70s to 90s.

There’s been back door recruiting for high schools since I can remember. This poor kid from my hometown got recruited by East Henderson High in NC from SC. The coach hired someone to drive 45 minutes a day to take this kid to and from school. His family never owned a vehicle until that coach bought them one. It’s just legal to do so now. I guess. Slippery slope just became impassible.
