Florida seems to be feeling good about themselves. They’re waving their money around and looks like they’re trying to be Georgia, but they’re not at all and it’s hilarious.
Yes they took Amick, and might keep Lagway from committing elsewhere, but I just hope they know that they are a dead program. Like Miami.
These programs in the state of Florida just aren’t seeming to pick back up. Maybe FSU picks up a little steam, but I honestly think they are the most overhyped team for next year. Even more so than Texas.
Anyways, Napier and the Gators’ program need to take a step back and think about what actually works and gets you success. It’s not simply handing out cash to everyone. Georgia does that, but it’s just another type of situation there with coaching and commitment.
Even though both Georgia and Florida both send players to their county jails everyday.
Man the SEC is a sewage land. Please God don’t let us become affiliated with that standard of college athletics.

Florida, as much as I hate them, has a much better athletic history than us. Multiple titles in the 3 major sports among others. They can feel good if they want. They're situation is too good to not be on top eventually.

So does Miami and FSU. They all have better histories than us.
Does it seem to matter at all? No. Not even in an era where schools can pay players. They should all three be top-10 every year with the recruiting locations, and their histories. But all I see are empty stadiums at Miami and FSU until last year. And Florida getting their dreams crushed by Georgia and Tennessee every year, occasionally losing to Kentucky and Vandy.

I play golf with a retired college coach who has known Napier for a very long time. He says that Napier has always been one to “bend” the rules and to operate on the fringes. It seems with all the gray areas surrounding recruiting currently, Florida will continue to be very aggressive in pushing the envelope.
