Idk feaster might rs. I think letting him go through a year of just strength and conditioning for football would allow him to stay healthier while at Clemson.

I agree, he did carry the rock a lot and I thought got a lil banged up his senior yr so a yr would do wonders. We're in a good situation if u can RS a 5 star recruit.

I'm so excited about Feaster. Can't wait to see what the kid will do. We are going to have one hell of a backfield

Feaster is already better than Gallman now. He can be bigger and stronger by Aug. ,as well as being arguably the fastest running back in college football. We wont win the National Championship without him.

I honestly think that Tavien needs a redshirt. We have choice to spell gallman and right now feaster is only 180#'s. He needs to bulk up and learn from Wayne.

Why redshirt someone who will probably leave in 3 years anyways?

Maybe because he's injury prone and misses games.

He's 18 years old and has 8 months before he puts on pads again.
I assume he'll run track this spring.
I wonder if it is possible to get over his nagging injuries?
He's not redshirting unless he's injured.

And i doubt he gains football weight running track until almost June
We will find out in August when good on good goes through drills and he runs into Lawrence, Pagano, Gage, Wilkins, Ben, Tre, Smith, Smith, Carlos and others

Feaster checked in at 6'0 202lbs at the Nike Combine and ran a laser-time 4.34 40yd dash back in late May. If anything, he will be closer to 210-215 after summer workouts and the Clemson S&C program / nutrition plan laid out for him.
Ray Ray and Hunter are the ones that have to hit the weights and cafeteria. Feaster will be jacked and ready to ball by September!

We nearly won one this year without him. He is a fantastic get but not absolutely necessary while Wayne is here and healthy.

Feaster is not better, just bc gallman was a 3-4 star means nothing. Feaster may have more upside in the next couple years. Faster always doesn't win out with the rb position. Who do you think runs harder with elite vision for d1 football as of right now? I really like feasters potential but he will have to show continually at a high level to crack the two deep bc Choice is no push over either

How can you say he is better than Gallman when he has never played a college game? He could be someday but is not now

Its not about who is better it's who can handle the workload and right now that is Wayne. Gallman, Choice, and Feaster are all pretty equal in terms of running ability, they will bring different styles to the table but Gallman is the only guy I see who can take 20 carries a game all year long.

I don't think Feaster needs a redshirt, I know I'm jumpin the gun big time but I think this kid is going to be in Heisman talk some day. He's gonna be doing essentially what brooks did this year, and I highly doubt he's gonna end up staying 4 years so I would love to see him contribute right away and watch his speed compliment wayne's physicality next year. So excited to watch this kid play, he is a BEAST.

Feaster no red shirting. Besides what if Wayne Train gets injured. We would need feaster. I think its gonna be a great one two punch next year with these two. Throw in Adam choice and we are stacked at running back.

No way Feaster redshirts. They said DW was injury prone too. He got injured a little his freshman year but stayed strong year out this year. Feaster would benefit from coming in early but in another way, it gives him 6 months to heal and get ready for some big boy football. You can bet the staff will give him guidance on how to prepare for the fall. Fuller, Choice and Dye will continue to work hard, thats what they do. RB will be a strength, you dont redshirt a 5-star RB like Feaster.

Put him in as a kickoff and punt returner in addition to RB. His speed is extremely deceptive. He looks like he isn't even trying and leaves other players in the dust. Been watching him at Spartan High the past few years where my kids go to school. He breaks away for big yardage. Miss a tackle and "see ya". Y'all are gonna enjoy watching him run in the end zone.

If we can get any blocking at all on punt returns Feaster would be sick. I also think he can be used on offense. He was great his senior season catching the ball out of the backfield when everyone stacked the box against them.
You have to get the ball in his hands somehow for 10-12 plays a game even with our depth.

Im not sure that he'll redshirt but I do believe he only touches the ball for situational plays. Gallman and choice will be our one two punch next season. Yeah I know some of you think That he's the second coming of Spiller but I have watched spillers HS highlights and Feaster. Feaster isn't as good. He's got the straight line speed but doesn't have near the cutting ability as spiller. Also he needs to get tougher. He does not fight through arm tickles or blow high school players over. Which to me if you can't do that in high school then you aren't going to be able to do it I during your first year in college ball. I think he'll need a full season and a spring to reach his potential.
