It may have something to do with getting an existing player

to switch numbers. He wore #44 in HS but BJ Goodson currently has that number. It is going to be difficult to get a Senior to switch numbers.
So he may have some other number he covets and might be tryingt o work out a deal or see if the player leaves.
Just a guess. Some guys are sticklers about numbers.

Sterling has some big shoes to fill in the #93. Hopefully he is the next Bowers/Crawford. Bryant in the #2 and Israel in the #10 also.

Clemson that fair or not carry extra expectations, such as the #4,66 and 93. I don't want to see those numbers watching from the sideline.

67 was Albert's high school number. If I'm not mistaken, he wears that number because it was the year his mother was born.
