Favorite play of the week.

This involves Clemson, so I thought y'all might enjoy it. A talk radio host, and warchant.com host, in Tallahassee did a segment on his radio show today. He talked about how much football he watched and enjoyed this weekend since FSU had a bye week. (He talked about how Nole fans get no joy from watching FSU play so he has to get his joy watching other teams play.)

He said his favorite play of the week was Mafah trucking the Wake safety on the delay draw. He went into great detail explaining just how Mafah laid the guy out. Then he said, "I wanted to take a screen shot and send it to K. J. Kirkland (the DB Mafah trucked in the FSU game) and say, 'Son, don't feel bad. He does this to everybody, not just you.' "

He spent a couple of minutes talking about what a beast Mafah is and lamented that FSU has nobody on the roster even close to Mafah. Then he noted that Mafah has 604 yards rushing while FSU has 348.

Things are so bad right now that Nole fans are no longer crying about our incompetence. We are laughing at it.

Mafah is a beast and I am so glad we have him. He fits perfectly into Riley's scheme.

So the season may turn out decent considering the start.

I’ve never been sold on Norvell for you guys (he might be but always thought he was your Tommy Bowden for us - good and made improvements but not THE answer).

You’ll be back. It’s always brutal after a longstanding HOF coach leaves to rebuild and find your identity.

And yes, Mafah is as bad as he is humble. I think he is built for a good NFL career.

Need a much larger sample space.

He was not nearly as effective as DJ was in his start against ND.

I'll hold off before I even think he will be the starter against UF, much less next year.
