Favorite 80s albums?

Been listening to some full albums on Spotify this morning. Was on an 80s kick for some reason, listening to some of my favorite albums (or cassettes/CDs as it was, back in the day):

Play Deep, The Outfield
Innocent Man, Billy Joel
Sports, Huey Lewis & the News
Can't Hold Back, Eddie Money
1984, Van Halen
5150, Van Halen
Beauty and the Beat, the Go-Gos
Eliminator, ZZ Top

I was all over the place with my music back then. Still am!

Love being able to stream full albums online. Would've saved me a lot of trouble back in my student days (87-91) lugging around all those cassettes every time I made the 12 hour drive to/from campus!

gravitated instead to modern country music. It just so happened at that time that country music was morphing into what in the late 70s was referring to as "easy listening" rock. Alabama, Travis Tritt and others kind of led that movement. The Alabama 'black cover" (Feels So Right) album is one of my favorites from that time, along with Travis Tritt's "Country Club" album, his first release.
