Coach Ford is absolutely correct in all his statements. College sports are on the way to becoming something NO fan wants to see. Money will kill college sports and it will not take long. It has already begun. I blame a lot of this on the TVs networks. The question is: Can it be stopped???
Coach Ford is also spot on with his analysis of Klubnik. Without question a solid QB but does he have IT? We will learn quickly how his teammates trust his skills.

Can can moat certainly be stopped and will eventually. Blame may go to the TV networks but people watch and continue to. When viewer ratings go down they will stop spending the money. Personally I don't watch SEC games at all unless the Cooters are playing someone decent and that is pretty much it. ESPN only gets my eyeballs consistently when Clemson is playing. Otherwise I have better things to do/watch than games that just drive TV money farther up

Ford was responsible for what was going on under his watch and he and Clemson paid the price. But, to be fair, the majority of the bad behavior was taking place behind the scenes, largely driven by bad booster behavior. It is one thing to be able to control what is going on within the confines of the program but when boosters go rogue, that becomes very difficult for a head coach to police.
We've added a lot more enforcement resources since then, as has everyone else, and we've been able to get a lot of that under control but those resources were not available during the Ford era.

If you know anything about our coach and it seams you don't i can guarantee that Coach Ford was hit with sanctions that in todays college football standards that most people would look the other way at.....also you woke idiots are judging the past on what you woke idiots see as normal today .....either read your history or stop with the woke $hit

I always felt Danny was a man of soil, down to earth and a farmer at heart who was a heellva football coach.
