Guess we just have adjust them. This is not a championship team this year. There's no way you can stand up against great college baseball teams with no power pitching and no power in the lineup. And this group doesn't have either.
I'm sure Bakich will get the most out of this team, but it's not going to Omaha.

Yep. This team is basically the equivalent of losing in the first round of the bball tournament. Make a regional. Get smoked.

I mean sure we don’t look like one right now but good thing in baseball is that we play a thing called a series so losing one game isn’t the end of the world while we got pitching issues we do have enough pitching to win 2/3 games any week

I try to keep positive as I can but this team doesn’t have all the pieces to win the ACC of make it to Omaha. Things change and this team could catch fire at the plate and hit the way there. As it strands today, we are not going anywhere.

My hope is that the full scholarships will allow Bakich and Bellanger to compete for out of state pitchers who otherwise couldn’t afford to come to Clemson. The Tigers haven’t been able to assemble an “SEC like” roster of pitchers since the 11.7 scholarship limit was imposed.
