College Football News says Bryant, not Bentley, one of Top 20 QBs in the nation
Clemson fans have had the privilege of watching great quarterback play over the last several years, with Tajh Boyd and Deshaun Watson setting records and winning championships. Clemson will have a new starter this season, and while we don’t know yet know who that starter will be, one national media entity thinks it will be Kelly Bryant and that Bryant will be one of the Top 20 signal callers in the country by season’s end. Against Clemson, Bentley completed just 7-of-17 passes for 41 yards and an interception before being removed at the half over concerns for his health.

Only the coots are drinking the Bentley Kool-Aid. Bentley will prove to be an average QB, at best. He might not even be the starter late in the season.

Kelly Bryant could play every game and only throw for 50% completion, 2000 yards and run for 500 with as many TDs as turnovers and still be better than whoever Florida will have playing quarterback.

Last year then just wait until our D gets a hold of him this year after his well publicized comments. Now on to the main subject. KB is a freak athlete. I wouldn't doubt that he will be one of the best this year if he can throw a little bit when we need it. As a runner the young man is proven.

QBs need to have live arms nowadays. Even Lavar Jacksons got one and hes still a primary runner first.
Safe to say KB and Bentley are entering this year on a similar plane, imo.

If this O-line can shift from pass block to run block, watch out! Kelly with the group of running backs behind him, we might only need to pass for 100-200 yards per game. When you throw in all of our wide receivers that should be easy. Corners, safeties and linebackers will be focused on the run so we should have channels to throw.

And this same Bryant will likely be 3rd QB by the middle of the season, and 4th string next year? What does that say about Bentley? If this guy's theory is correct, Bentley would only make it as high as scout team QB at Clemson.
