that all the pre-season hype went to Cade and it has caused him to try and play beyond what he's capable of doing. You just don't be the QB that he was last season and become what we have seen this season without something messing with his head, and I totally believe that it's all the media hype making him into the super man of college FB, and can't live up to all that hype of the things he was told he was in the off season!!! I honestly hoped that it wouldn't happen bc I really thought that it was going to affect him. Cade has forgotten that he played to what his ability allowed him to play last season.
I believe that all of the off season superman hype has made Cade believe in his head that he is better than what his natural ability can allow him to be!!! Dabo must sit him to make him rethink all the hype that was put in his head, and I believe that's what has happen to Cade, it's a psychological thing going on with Cade right now, and last year's Cade hasn't showed up this season...

He wasn’t much better last year. He is what he is.

Respectfully disagree, he made a lot of progress after the GA game. He did stink it up against the coots but he played well against Texas. If he had carried over that progress and momentum into this season, we could be sitting at 3-0 right now.
The sad part is he has regressed quite a bit from last season, a big part of why we sit 1-2 now.

Pre-season hype has nothing to do with it. Cade is just not good.

You’re one of those people who creates the media hype. He was not a good QB last year. He padded stats against horrible teams and sucked against the good ones. I don’t care about how many TDs he throws against Citadel or SC State or Wake Forest, it’s the games against Georgia, Carolina, and Texas that matter

He was a H&ll of a lot better than the Cade we have seen play this season. Also, there is no way that I had anything to do with creating any of the media hype especially when I was hating all that was being said like he would be the best QB in the country coming into this season, things like he would be the Heisman front runner this season, and things like he would be a #1 draft pick.
If I was someone close to Cade, I would tell him do not to listen to all the hype they were pouring all over him. Also if I were close to Cade, when I heard the media saying all delicious chit they were they were putting out there about him, I would tell him that the worst thing he could do would be to pay any attention to all the praises they were throwing out there about him bc it was their job to write crap like that to draw in their readers, or to get more clicks on their media web sites.
If I were close to Cade, I would tell him that he should be who he is and nothing more bc if he tried to be what the media was saying he was that he could become the worst version of Cade through his last season at Clemson. I would tell him to be himself and do what he does best and if he does that, he will get everything that he deserves regardless of what the media or anybody else was saying about him.
I would especially tell him that the media would be just as happy to slice him up in very thin slices if went into his last season screwing up the way that he been doing this season so far. And if he continues to try and do more than he is capable of doing, they will chew him up and they will be just as happy doing that as they were praising him...
