Smith should go. Lucky to be drafted where he was since he can’t throw strikes.
Taylor could use another year but based on his social media he seems to be flaunting the pirates pick so I think he’s gone

I think Bakich and co now need to re-circle back to Obertop and see where his mind is at...He did go undrafted so it makes sense for him to use his COVID year.

Is it ok to have some optimism about Harlan? I mean he is on campus and did start class. Is there some NIL package that we can offer him to stay on campus?

I wish but there’s almost no shot he ever actually plays a game for us. If a team is taking a high school guy that early you can bet they already knew what “his number” is that would get him to sign. Granted there is always exceptions but he wouldn’t have gone that high if the team wasn’t dang near positive they can sign him. If teams weren’t as sure on him he would have fell multiple rounds (see our other top 2 prospects)

Agree, if Harlan is the only one, then we have one heck of a class. Would be nice if Will stayed and graduated, and I think he should come back, but bisetta was really coming on. As for Obertop, it'd be nice but we have that dynamite catcher that'll be healthy this year, so Obertop may have a rough time getting innings.
We should be loaded.

I would think so. You lose contract leverage if he plays final year at Clemson.
