ESPN ranks 131 NCAA QBs for 2022

Jun 3, 2022, 8:14 AM

"Uiagalelei was one of the worst statistical QBs in the country last season, despite Clemson winning 10 games, and he could easily lose his job to Klubnik, another highly touted freshman, if he doesn't take a major step forward this season."

We needed ESPN to tell us that!
They are on the ball.

A fair assessment of DJ based on last season. Rattler seems

to get a bit more credit than he’s earned.

Since when has flaming out in Oklahoma and crash landing in Columbia, SC constituted a “fresh start”?

I remember die-hard pumpers defending our offense til the end

Last year.

Is Elliott leaving a good or bad thing? Guess we will see.

I think Elliott was too conservative on many fronts. I think he asked too much from the OL especially against good teams. The scat backs are not good blockers but he wanted speed and blocking. Our RBs averaged probably 195 under Elliott, he often asked guys to lose weight. Our guys running at 190-200 and Bama/GA running at 220-235. Which guy is going to block better and last more abuse?

Loved Elliott, but I didn't agree with his vanilla, "take what we get philosophy", but rather us be the dominant team.

Can we pump the breaks on Tyler Van Dyke just a little? He's very talented, but he is a gunslinger playing for one of the most conservative coaches in America (Cristobal.) Can we see how that marriage works before putting him in the Heisman conversation? Does this offseason with Miami and Van Dyke not feel exactly like UNC and Sam Howell last year?

So you be spared clicking on a link like i had to do for the butwipes at ESPN. DJ is ranked middle of the pack, halway down the list. Like tier 11 out of 25.
