Recruiting in general has lost all the excitement it use to have, even after a top commit signs on signing day, its like they're still always on a 1 yr contract lol. You can only get excited for whomever runs out on that field on game by game basis.

It's probably not true, but if we are going to "pay" these young man, either via the university or NIL contracts, then they are going to have to sign binding contracts and be held to honor them.

Yeah, we share the same disdain for uga. After last year with our pledges, our class won't be secure until December.
I know everyone jumps on the money train but imo someone never would have pledged to us if money was a factor. Saying, they had money thrown at them b4 ever pledging to us.
It's sickening how well they're recruiting. I really think the sell of playing against the best opponents yada yada resonates.

Get used to it. This is the way it will be until players have to actually sign contracts. I don’t know why they are currently not requiring that. What a stupid system.

I’m sorry but how effin pathetic is it that a grown man would write an article about a 17 year old and his decision to wear a team’s gloves. It may be the money making him flip, but then again it could be that he’s 17 and those were the first gloves he found in his room. I hope we retain him but we will be ok either way. He’s not the first 4 star edge and won’t be the last

FYI, I wasn’t looking at the team website. That article came in via my google feed. Google knows your location and tends to feed you “local ish” information and of course when it spoke to CU I clicked on it. Did I mention that I HATE uga!

It's hard to tell from the video in the article that he is even wearing UGA gloves. The rest of the team has on red helmet pads, and other players have red gloves on as well. His don't look any different, so could they just be his high school colors?
