Get to know Jesus Christ and you might understand Dabo's point and he's right. It is Biblical that time is cyclical, that when there are good times it will be followed with bad times. Bad times now but will be followed with good times. Searching for God particularly in the bad times is human nature.

Yeah it’s one thing to mock people for coaching a football team not as good as you think you might be able to, but to mock a man for trusting God and to say “God doesn’t have anything to do with this”… wow. That’s a pretty cowardly take.

And no, my assertion is the product on the field isn't worth what we're paying--not that "I could do better" Don't be ridiculous. Clemson deserves better.

Dabo should do his job to the best of his ability...the majority complaining see obvious signs he has not tried to do his job to the best standard that he himself set. If i eat triple cheesburgers everyday I can't say it was God's plan to take me out with a heart attack at 50? God allows consequences for our actions...we are not 1-3 because that is what God wants. We are 1-3 because our programs decisions and effort over the last 5 years.

So us playing better comes down to prayer? If so, why are wasting millions on ineffective coaches and friends and family assistants and yes men? A group of priests and preachers would be much cheaper ..

I think you might also be missing Dabo’s point in talking about God. He’s saying that yes times are not good for Clemson football but God will bring good out of it. And He will. In a variety of ways.

I don’t think he is, but I really hope Dabo isn’t using his faith to divide the fan base, or to make us feel guilty for criticizing him. I’m a Christian and never once was I taught that God cares about football. If I’m being honest, it feels kind of wrong to harp on it to the extreme that Dabo does.
