Does whining make one a wuss

This week attempted to trade in my 24 year old boat.
I am not Spud, have little experience putting boats in and out of the water. Backing makes me dizzy.
The trailer I had not used in years had a flat tire. Jacked it up, took the tire to town to be fixed, and put it back on. (Keep in mine I am a hundred years old.) 1/4 mile down the road the tire came off the rim. I could not lift it with the boat on, had to go buy a jack. I read all the time as to geezers getting crushed by a lawn mower, having a boat fall on me would not be good. Took the tire back for a second fix. On pins and needles the tire made it to Piedmont, SC where on the internet was a boat I wanted.
In Piedmont the dealer said they don't take boats as old as mine. In addition, the boat I wanted had sold that morning. They had one in red, but I can't be happy with a #### colored boat. They ordered a blue one for me (only choice not cocky).
I spent this last week working on it in my driveway to adapt it to my needs (fishing). Took out the two front seats which are just in the way, mounted my 36v trolling motor and 3 100ah lithium batteries, rod holders, beer holders, etc.
I put it in the water today to get it to my dock. My elderly Bride helped.
It cranked up on the first turn - impressive! 5 minutes later it quit. I was not stranded as I had installed my old 36v trolling motor on board.
Lately it seems every time I take a step forward, I take two back. I whine, I don't complain as like OneJedi® said, it is kinda great having 1st world problems compared to what most in the World deal with.

Most don't know, but I am by nature a collector (some would falsely claim hoarder). A couple years back lost a life time of ?? in one afternoon. I had to go into the world with a t-shirt, shorts (no shoes) and my Bride. Starting over with nothing as a septuagenarian is a challenge. No matter as I had dealt with worst times.
Priorities over a new boat were things like rebuilding the place where I sit on the porch interacting with yawl (like now) and putting in new trees and plants that had burned. My yard was a disaster area.
I prefer to do my own work as I don't like strangers showing up. I work slow, but I eventually get it done.
Finally got around to the old boat. I got this fishing platform which is perfect for me. I already took out the two front seats as they are just in the way.
I'll get a new fuel line on without the ??? environment thing that failed and be fishing by Monday. This is the week Stripers run up River.

Wusses don’t try to fix their own problems. Whiners don’t either. You are neither.

Congrats on the new boat! I also find that when one complains it’s hard to find someone who will listen! 🤣
I took your advice and focused on aerobic running every other day. It has helped increase my anaerobic 5k time to around 24 minutes. I guess I wasn’t recovering my O2 and glycogen stores fast enough. I guess being over 50 makes it that much harder! I’m still hitting over 4 miles a day five days a week. I’ve also added 30 minutes of High Intensity Interval Training followed by free weights for an hour. Keeping the balance between slow and fast twitch muscle is tough without losing running ability.

You live on the lake and choose to make the most of that situation. You have a bride who by all appearances is your best friend.
To get annoyed when stuff breaks is the healthy reaction. Especially when it's new stuff.
And sometimes it's natural to wonder whether the Lord hasn't tilted the universe just enough to slide all the hassles over to your side of the table for a brief spell. Because, spiritual growth.
Sounds like you're in one of those brief spells.
I had to scratch my Striper trip up the Seneca on Saturday because the matriarch of the family threw together a big family feed and we're not ones to miss big family feeds.
I'll toss a green light in down at the dock before the dinner bell and then go do some night fishing after the food's digested.
It's not like we have a Clemson basketball game to watch or anything.
