Do you think this Nuk thing will resonate among other top WR recruits?

Just wondering if WRU seems saturated according to his narrative? I hope not

I don't think so. After looking at the podcast for myself he talked about religion his father's death and a lot of personal tragedy he went through as a kid, his quote looks worse if you only read it.

I think he was talking about feeling like a underdog in life more than dissing Clemson.....I may have been to hard on him yesterday.

I WONDER IF THE LAST TIME HE HAS BEEN ASSOCIATED WITH CLEMSON WAS THE BOWL GAME AGAINST LSU. I DON'T THINK NUK AND DABO HAVE A GOOD RELATIONSHIP. I BET HE HAS NOT SET FOOT ON CAMPUS SINCE HE LEFT.

Wasn't he there for the 2013 UGA game ?

As to the OP, he called College Football a Ponzie Scheme, not just Clemson. His Clemson comments were about being jealous of Sammy and thinking that he had done all he could do at Clemson. After 4th and 16, he wasn't gonna improve his draft status . His new contract being highest paid WR does nothing but help Clemson.

Did his pre season comments about Savage being THE MAN hurt DW4 ?????

Part of Hopkins success is that he operates with a chip

on his shoulder. He has an edge to him probably based on his life experience. I agree I don't think he hates Clemson. The fans loved him. The coaches loved him. I can see from his vantage point that it may have felt like the offense revolved around Sammy, but Nuk was a huge part of our success. In fact maybe more so because he was dependable and could make big plays. Sammy was a threat and could break the big play. Nuk kept us just moving the chains with some big plays mixed in. Either way, Nuk is a guy that plays with an edge...you can't just take that away and get the same guy.

Clemson fans should keep that in perspective.

Thanks for the feedback. I can see how that could get misconstrued. Just glad there’s more to it in the podcast for a recruit to make a fair assessment of the entire story. I’ll check it out for myself
