Life ends when you die? Do you think you existed before you were born?

I can say for certain that I don’t know for certain.
I think it’s most likely that when the lights go out, they stay out, which is why I think we should be our best selves with our 1 shot at being here
I don’t think any of us existed before we were born. Although I think it’s fascinating when I see people that have memories of past live.

I think some people have been alive forever.
I agree, we should always strive to be the best we can be. I also think we should show grace to others when they are not the best they can be. Truth and Grace.

For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved. https://www.biblegateway.com/passage/?search=John.3.16,John.3.17&version=KJV

I agree, those who are born of Christ were created in Heaven but a question:

I think our essence goes on, in another form, our "spritual body" if you will.

Did we exist before we were born, and will we get to come back again to try and do better the next time around? Questions I won't be able to answer until I get to the Other Side, but fascinating to think about.

Deep, deep question. Compounded by, are 'you' a 'you', or are 'you' an 'us'?
"Hindu traditions consider soul to be the unchanging eternal essence of a living being, which journeys through reincarnations until it attains self-knowledge.
Buddhism, in contrast, asserts a rebirth theory without a Self, and considers realization of non-Self as Nirvana."
In other words, are we each completely individual leaves, or are we each just tiny parts of a greater tree?

Imagine our dead bodies being just like dead leaves fallen from a tree. The tree lives on, our shoot continues and we live on as a new leaf, and whatever we are, or were, is left behind. Freaky.
