On Dabo for throwing him off the team. But I wonder if he will even play.

LOL Dabo didn't "throw" DJU off the team. He left. He knew Cade would be taking his job.

And Dabo was part of the plan before the season even started. DJ wanted to leave before his last season at Clemson to get closer to home after his parents divorced, and Dabo and his family convinced him to hang in for one more season and finish his degree. He left before the bowl game because he only had 3 weeks to pick a school, get enrolled and moved before January classes started.
Dabo even mentioned this in a pre-season interview that he and DJ had a plan for his future and it played out just like they planned.
I've never really understood all the vitriol this kid generates. He was 22-6 as a starter, well liked by his teammates, never got into any trouble, took a load of flack from fans but still maintained a good attitude, and did what the program asked of him. OK, so he made a comment about the offense being "too simple" and maybe he didn't feel as challenged by it. So what. Does that really justify all the hate that came his way?
He didn't work out because he simply wasn't at the level he needed to be but he gave good effort and did the best he could.
Given all the circumstances, I'm not sure what else he could have done.

No one hates DJ. Maybe a handful of Johnny come latelys. We were frustrated at his performances on the field. I pull against him now because I pull against FSU.

DJ was 22-6 because of an outstanding defense that kept us in the games and won many. We could have been 28-0, or close, with average QB play.

according to dju, he left for the Beavers because our offense was too simple.... OSU was going to better utilize his skillset.

Everything is too simple for DJU...he could not execute the simple...complex would way past his job rating...just handing off the ball was a chore for DJU!

Dabo gave him every chance imaginable but just did not work out. He was probably pretty happy at Oregon State then money can knocking.

His head coach left at the end of the season, his solid, senior-led OL graduated, and his best RB and WR departed as well. I'm sure the NIL money at FSU is nice but staying at OSU wasn't going to be the same with all of those departures.

His Oregon State coach did not seem to offer to carry him there. Wonder why?

If DJ is mad at anything he should be mad at himself for not playing good enough to keep his starting job.

He also showed off his NIL deals with the way he dressed, conducted interviews, and other materialistic things. I truly believe that many of his fellows players disliked him for that reason and maybe did not give their all because of him. Dr. Pepper dropped their monetary deal with him because they had the foresight to include lack of positive performance in the contract. Maybe the same thing is happening at Fla. St.

It's going to be even worse when he has to play us with the pressure added of keeping his job. I think it could be a bloodbath in our favor.

You should be a head doctor. Maybe you could help me understand why he is not seen as just another QB we have to play.

time and again the pressure got to him in bog situations. Doesn't take a "head doctor" to look at a large sample size and draw a conclusion. I think you somehow got the opposite of my point. DJ is the one who would have been rattled, had he played. Reading comprehension.

From what? Playing below average and being benched. This isn't rec ball. You earn your positions and just like at fsu he is losing or lost his status.

Why would DJU want revenge? He played at Clemson when most coaches would have benched him. Dabo and the coaches completely changed the offense to hide his weaknesses and get the most out of him and it worked for a 22- 6 record but he knew his time was limited after the 8 for 29, 99 yard performance against SC and 2 for 5, 10 yard start against UNC before he was benched. He graduated from Clemson and it was time for change.
The only DJU revenge is the perception fueled by his Dad looking for "likes" on social media.
