Blue Origin all female flight "crew" yesterday

So this flight "crew" did.... what? Sat there? I think the one rule they all have is "don't do anything stupid." They may not even have that! They were passengers!!
So does this mean that the next time I fly I'm part of the flight crew? Or the next time I'm on a boat or cruise ship, that I'm part of the crew?
If you have no responsibilities for the vehicle or craft, you are not part of the crew - you are along for the ride and are a passenger! Let's not give these millionaire babies any credit for anything more than being wealthy. Now the many NASA astronauts who actually had responsibilities in space travel - they are to be celebrated. They were actually flight crew. But not these high-dollar tourists.
Old-Guy-Rant over.

Then nobody is an astronaut anymore
The dragon capsule is autonomous too
I do think the commander does have to be able to take over if something fails tho

Interesting observation. Apparently, similar PR concerns arose for NASA in the

very early days of the space program. NASA recruited the very top test pilots in the US. But as the space program developed it became apparent that the rockets really were not "piloted" in the same way that the experimental jets had been.
The more things change, the more they stay the same. Also, if you haven't, read "The Right Stuff" which is where I am pulling this from.
