did anyone get turned away?

Mar 23, 2014, 2:42 PM

i barely got in.

one of the ticket windows ran out of tickets in the line next to the one i was in. there were still long lines when i walked inside with about 4 minutes elapsed in the first half

i was shocked this morning when i was out for my run and saw the people in line around LJ on both sides and the folks streaming toward the arena.

great crowd, great atmophere today!

nope, but dozens of STUDENTS did when we tried to go the PITT game. We kept pointing out to the worthless security company that we could see DOZENS of open seats from outside of the building. There was literally dozens of pairs of empty seats and they were so policy driven that they told us probably 50+ times that it was a sellout. That was ######## frustrating. I argued with the ticket scanners and their advisors from the 17 minute of that game until almost halftime. It was completely ridiculous. They told me individually it was a sellout 20+ times and there was empty purple chairs all throughout the arena.

The definition of a sell-out is when all the tickets are sold ... not when all the seats are filled.

I know it's frustrating, but it happens all the time and not just at Clemson.

If seats you see empty on TV are owned by season ticket holders who just didn't show up, they are still considered owned by those people and not available.

Many times in LJ, I used to want to go down and fill some of those empty sideline seats after tip off and was turned away by security.

No empty sidelines seats today. The place was packed. And rocking.

I got up to LJ around 1015am and huge line. Already printed

my ticket so went in and lower bowl was filling quick. I got seats over by Tiger Pep band in section 107.

Awesome crowd. Illinois had a good crowd too. Was surprised by how many people they had.
