Deon should do it. That’s the best coaching position you can have in any sport at any level all around the world.

Yep. Obviously I meant the whole team would leave. He is the only reason most of them committed to play there.

Would be a lot of solid players headed to other teams

Most of there team leaves anyway. They had 48 transfers out of Colorado after the 23 season. 27 so far this year.

I think Deion's ultimate goal is to coach in the NFL, but his personality fits college so much better. I know they are the transfer portal school and he came in with his "I'm bringing my own luggage, and it's Louis" nonsense, but I think Deion does truly care about these kids and their education. At least a lot more than other programs. He is trying to build a program of substance but unfortunately in today's college football you have to start winning first before you start building a program on any kind of substance, hence the 50+ transfers every single year.

Deion could have been a generational difference maker at Jackson State or another HBCU... the way that league is viewed, the talent they can recruit, etc... but Coach Prime is Coach Prime and he isn't going to "settle" for a job like that.
