I have known from the beginning that this Clemson team is not a playoff team. It is a top 15-20 team but if we somehow stumbled into the playoff we would get beaten badly. So stop this playoff nonsense and hope for a decent bowl where we can be competitive. So go ahead and call me a Coot if you like. I'm realistic.

So you are saying it is what it is and things will just stay the same? You could be right but not sure you give up with 3 games remaining. Also not sure you are a coot and could care less, but definitely not a fan I would care to associate with. Stay optimistic, pessimism will just make you miserable.

Honest question: would you rather get into the CFP with the risk of losing to a superior team or lose another game so we’re guaranteed to have a better chance of winning a lower bowl?
One is manly ambition (the heart of a champion), the other is cowardly involution.

You’re not realistic your a selfish fan who needs wins to make yourself feel better. These players work their ##### off ti make it as far as they can. So if they are selected it’s not because they fell into it but they earned it. Fans like yourself are the most pathetic in every fan base, I’d just quit watching if I were that weak.

Couldn’t diasagree more, not making the playoffs equals zero chance to win. Getting in as a 4 seed offers some chance to win. Never forget when Clemson beat the greatest college team to ever take the field. We were given no chance, and we put the game away in the first half.

As of today i feel the Tigers are outside of the top 4 but there are 3 games left to play. Hopefully the team finishes strong

I have said this before, but it bears repeating:
If your team is in the Top 25, you should be very happy.
If your team is in the Top 10, you should be estatic.
If your team makes the CFP, you should be grateful (because so much of that depends on things beyond your team's control)
Having said all of that, since last year I have thought that we were a second 10 team, but as the season progressed, I felt we could grow into the Top 10. Now, I hope that circumstances fall into place to allow us to gain a place in the CFP.
