The sec would like to thank you for being a participant in their conference. Please cheer for Auburn and Alabama as they go to the bowls that matter. We thought of tossing you a bone with the Cotton Bowl, but Missouri did win your division so you are out. Once again we appreciate you participating in the sec and your participation ribbon to hang from your stadium is in the mail.


Don't forget....when it really matters this bowl season and Auburn and Alabama are playing it is sec sec sec.

Also thank you for beating the 2nd best team in the ACC like a drum 5 years in a row. This may help us take another bowl game away from them and send an ACC team to a pre Christmas Day bowl game. Also the Capital One bowl picks before the Cotton but whatever makes your post better right!
PS. Wonder what the spread will be in a game that matches up the ACC runner up with the SEC's 7th place team. Wonder if A @ M will treat it like winning the national championship? Probably not.

Seems that usc really did play the second best team in the ACC a few years ago in the Chick Fil A bowl, after having won the east. How did that work out?
