Sorry, but the shipped passed you by after the 2nd best season in state history in 2013 as you say when 1/3 of your top 15 recruiting class that following spring failed to enroll, which occurred again last year... we'll see how this one shakes out on that end, but the brutal reality is that your team is a shell of a ballclub, with a shell of a coach, taking on a "boat" load of hungry and well prepared college football teams this coming season. If it weren't for the Citadel, Spurrier could possibly roll out a Holtz O-fer the way this is shaking out.

Congrats on that #4. That's also DW's number. Interesting. Wasn't that also your Bowl Season Champs (BSC - don't be confused) year? A Spurrier award that you managed without actually playing in a BCS game. At least rings weren't involved.

So, according to coot math, if Dabo isn't given credit for beating Spurrier in 2008 despite the NCAA and Elias assigning him that distinction as head coach, does Watson's win last year count as 2 wins because he was only playing on one leg? Or is it 4 wins? Or maybe only a 1/4th? Did it actually even happen, like 2008's W?

I enjoyed the time during the streak . They were a very vocal , very confident bunch . You don't see them much these days but Motor City Bengal and 18wheeler would yap on and on about how joining the SEC and hiring Spurrier in 2005 were the turning points in their football fortunes. How their "culture had changed" and how Clemson had been permanently passed (see 35-17 / 66-42-4) by the Gamecoots.
I always laughedwhen i read that stuff . History repeats itself. Anybody that thinks that Clemson University will EVER take a backseat to the USUCK football program has absolutely gone mad. To consider such a thing an actual possibility is just laughable.
When you have been owned for now heading into a 3rd century , there is no way to except any other lot in your miserable existence.
Coots know who they are , but give them a little daylight like that 5 win streak that ended 2 years ago and they go off like teenage girls in a mall fight .
It is amusing to watch .
