I knew he could get football baçk to a top 3 program. I just thought maybe basketball would be too much for him having to mentor Brad and turn that fiasco around. Well, Dabo did both. I will never doubt him again. Watch him turn women's basketball around as well.

Are you implying that the football decline from 21-24 can solely be attributed to Dabo's Herculian efforts to lift the MBB team out of their malaise and mediocrity thus negatively impacting football results?

If we look at the relative trajectory of basketball and football since 2021 I think it’s obvious where he has put his energy. I’m glad he feels that bball is ready to stand on its own two feet.

They're teaching it over in the new business school now. Waiting list a mile long. Brad audited it a couple of times in the off season.

Thank you Dabo! Can't say enough about the staff killing it on the recruiting trail and the portal additions, and the new coaching hires. Can't wait to see how the next few years unfold. Go Tigers.

IMO there was never a doubt that he would get it fixed, it was just a matter of Dabo seeing that the fruit he was raising on his internal coaching tree just wasn't ripe enough to start picking from before it was ready. IMO he should have gone to the market on the outside to get what he needed as soon as he lost some fruit from his program that other teams chose to purchase away from his FB program. Personally, IMO I feel there is one more purchase needed but as we know how Dabo does things, that won't happen until Dabo is satisfied that position coach isn't getting ripe soon enough, and until then he won't pull the trigger to replace the one coach that will be his hardest to part ways with, and I do believe that will be hardest coach to replace as Dabo has ever had to replace!!!
