That first half after the Ville game may have been one of our most pathetic halves of football after a pathetic game. I was SO bad. People vent during games. Give grace.

Per play if you want to, and still have hope.
I hate the way we look over the last three years. But I’m a fan, donor, alum, regardless of how our teams perform. But I feel all that gives me the right to groan when we’re not performing at our best.

Dude, I’m not a downer. I love this team and Dabo. But I am a realist. This team is better than last year’s team but it has significant flaws. Did the defense play better yesterday? Yes, but in truth the VT tailback got only 4 touches. We out talent average teams but struggle against teams with equal talent. That is obvious. With our schedule this year, we definitely should at least be in the ACC championship but will probably not be. We are a slightly above average football team. That’s the truth.

I disagree. Slightly above average would around 45th to 49th placed team in the country. We are better than that . Our ranking is about right. We are around16th to 19th. A still have time to improve and move up in the rankings before season ends. Go tigers!

preseason I said this team was a 10-2/9-3 team............the only way for me to be wrong is for us to do the unthinkable and lose 2 of the next 3..............that's not happening w/ the who our opponents are.
REGARDLESS of how this season ends..........the TEAM is no longer ELITE........... and hasn't been in 5 YEARS.
Dabo's slowplaying of solving the problems of the program is only setting us back further.

I was one. The game against Louisville and the first half yesterday deserved to be criticized. However, the second half yesterday deserved to be praised.

Are going to get stomped. Nothing so far this season shows me we can play with the end-of-season top 8 in the country. Again, I truly hope I’m wrong and you can bring this up to me and I’ll happily eat crow, but with our lack of depth, and on-field evidence, I don’t see us competing with the elite.
