His highlights are pretty good against 7A Georgia Football. He never gives up on getting loose and has very good speed too!

Great balance for running so high. Reminds me more of a Wayne Gallman type vs ETN.

Wouldn't get too typed based off of HS tape. Demarkcus Bowman had some of the most amazing tape any of us have ever seen and he couldn't even get on the field anywhere at the collegiate level.

picked up very late. Turned out to be the best running back in Clemson history, without any doubt in my opinion. CJ was great, Terry Allen was great, James Davis was great, and many other really good running backs but Travis ETN was easily the best, my opinion.

My favorite thing about ETN was he truly never knew how good he was until his senior season, he kept his head down and kept working to get better. You knew if he got loose it was over, his burst(afterburner) was amazing.

Bowman is hard to figure. He had the talent. The little I saw him play live, he could go. I just don’t know if he had that dog in him though.

I hope he's an absolute stud, but not sure I see the same breakaway speed. I certainly hope so. As another poster mentioned, Wayne Train seems a closer fit.

No offense but if he were even remotely close to ETN Mafah would be splitting carries with him this year and there would be no competition for 2nd string.
Ez has been reported to be like 3rd or 4rth coming out of spring and Dabo said he had a long way to go after spring. That doesn’t sound like ETN at all.
ETN is the best RB in Clemson Football history and will probably be Clemsons best NFL RB.
I’m hoping he can be as good as let’s say Andre Ellington. Even that would be a tough as Ellington was a dang good back and played in the league.

It’ll take time but he’s going to be a great RB if he’s healthy and learns the system.

Tarvis E. is absolutely the best to come through Clemson. However, even he was a Freshman at one point and struggled with pass pro. Go back and watch our loss to Bama in the 2018 playoff game. Travis did not do well in pass pro and it hurt us. He also ran for 22 yards that game and he was not yet the pass catching threat he developed into.
Travis learned from those Freshman mistakes and turned into a BEAST.
Let's hope one of these younger backs on our roster can develop the same way.

Humble Servant - I hope you are correct.
Not verbatim; ETN but in the sense that he is coming in not as a highly praised RB - but will end up one of the better we have had. I would agree he has the potential to be that same way.
To me with Clemson(football coaching staff) being as "particular" as they are in who they do or do not offer: means they think EZE has a chance to be special. If he has put the work in and continues to learn and get better - he has the skills to be the next great one for sure.

Davidson will be a day one starter in 2025. EZ will be great depth then and beyond. The recruiting at rb has finally picked up a little bit.

Shipley was a 5-star Mafah a 4-star
RB recruiting has been pretty good. Remember Travis Etienne was rated a 3-star by Rivals( see link ).
We picked him up late and it worked out pretty well for him and Clemson, I would say!
