Makes me wonder if he is referring to his opposition to professionalizing college football and he thinks he should have retired when the current landscape became a pseudo pay for play system. Now he is too much of a competitor to walk away with his program crumbling, but can he reconcile his instincts and core values with the utterly wicked process that must be followed to be a Top Ten program today?

If he chooses to stay and take on the challenge, I think he will do what is necessary. I believe Saban told him exactly what he needed to hear.
