Dabos best work to date?

Considering we basically played all year without a field goal kicker…depleted receiving core and a QB that still has a hill to climb. The O-line made progress but still a work in progress. I think Dabo took lemons and made lemonade. This is not a National Championship team, but I think Dabo kept it close playing to our strengths. As usual…Defense was lights out most of the time. What say you Tigernet nation? Is this Dabo’s best coaching job to date?

We had a FG kicker against the coots, you must admit.

I can't argue against any of that. It also can't be understated how difficult it is to take a roster of players who came here expecting to compete for championships, and keep them locked in after a 4-4 start on the season. It would've been easy for many of the players to check out at that point and have a disappointing season turn into a complete disaster. I think that goes miles to show the respect the players have for Dabo.

the root cause even appeared to be starters/playing time decisions that's like really bad. when your freshmen show up and outperform every upperclassmen ... and to have been deciding against playing them all season long
sorry
this is a D minus or F management performance.

We went to a bowl game and beat the coots most years under Bowden. We could go 6-6, beat the coots, and make a bowl, and you’d consider that a good season? Asking for a friend

A freshman being ready to contribute late in the season doesn't mean they were ready to contribute in the same type of way earlier in the season.

Best coaching job to date? Maybe a better question would be why did we have lemons on the field?
Last five years Clemson has been ranked in the top 10 recruiting classes. A class full of lemons don't get you ranked in the top 10.

Dabo's the reason for the lemons.......he created the issue.........

we've been trending down the last 3-4 years talent wise and outcome wise offensively.
We've been "flirting" with the sub-10 win season the last few years and now we're going to applaud once we finally get below 10?????............no applause here.
He knows how to fix it, we'll see if he will actually do what it takes to do it.

One of his worst, I’d say. I still love Dabo but this year stunk.

Maybe you just got out of prison and the TVs there couldn't pick up the CW, but may I remind you of a few games?
* "Getting throttled by Duke" seems like Coach K's name should be involved somewhere. We had all offseason to get ready for that game and we looked ready for nothing. * We trailed Charleston Southern, then lead at halftime by only a touchdown. * Winning against Florida State would help make a case for Dabo's best work to date, but we did not. * Eking out a win against Wake Forest when Vegas had Clemson favored by 20.5 isn't good work. * Blowing a ten-point fourth quarter lead against Miami is not good work. * N.C. State? Maybe we really deserved that loss. * Happy for the four wins in November but we did not look good against South Carolina at all.
If we're 10-2 right now and something better than 4th in the conference, I might agree with you. This has been the worst year since before Tajh was a starter.

Dabo had his finger in the dyke all year ... doing his best to fill asst coaching, recruiting and development issues. My guess is he worked harder than any year since 2016. My hope would be for our great coach to fill his asst. coaching holes which will help with recruiting and development, and for Coach Swinney to spend more time on recruiting players and building the Clemson brand.
