Wrong! Big Dave was at the game Saturday wearing a black DJU jersey along with his son. Dave sat among Clemson fans and even took pictures with Clemson fans. Mantayo was there to visit ND but Dave cheered on his son that was playing. DJ has not cut out his dad from his life.

BD showing up on a visit with his other son at ND and cheering for DJ doesn't contradict the notion of DJ cutting him out of his life if that is in fact what's happening.
Haven't seen hide nor hair of a BD sighting in Clemson this year, but I'm not on the twitters et all so maybe he is?

For the last couple of years when I watch Tiger football I can’t help but recall a book I read in the mid fifty’s titled
“The Year The Yankees Lost The Pennant” by David Wallop. The lead character,Joe, sold his soul to the Devil to become a great baseball player. I feel like our coaching staff has made the same mistake!
I think that Coach Swinney is one of the most genuine men that there is but I’m having trouble understanding his devotion to DJ and his father. There isn’t a day that goes by when someone doesn’t ask me why DJ is the quarterback.
I’ve never met anyone who thought he was good enough to be leading Clemson and that includes me! We have been at the top of the college football world for several years now but that is changing right before our eyes. And we THINK that we know why. Am I out in left field with this analysis.?
Like it or not, we are not going to be in the big picture for the remainder of this season unless a drastic improvement occurs starting in a few days. It can happen, but ......

I tend to believe Dabo when he said 'DJ is the better QB.' It scares the heck out of me to think Cade could be lesser of the two.

That's just for now. By the middle to end of next season Cade should be capable of leading us to CFP championship if the rest of the team gets a little better.

Thanks for posting this. I’ve wondered to myself if something maybe underhanded was done at the time to get him to come here, along with promises. His Dad is an open book, look at his twitter. And he acts like he is auctioning his sons skills for profit of some sort. He’s very sketchy. Just like this whole situation with DJ. I really don’t want to lose CK because if DJ. I’m worried with the other guy coming in from Alabama, and the way Cade has been handled this year, it’s possible. Imagine being his dad after the Syracuse game where he contributed off the bench for the come from behind win, and all Dabo talks about is DJ and he’s still his guy. No mention of Cade. I have a son so I can speak as a father, I’d be effin pissed. At this point, this DJ era can’t end fast enough for me.

Playing Hunter Johnson who isn't likely to help us much?
