Not much different than what he said last night. Incredibly disappointing for sure. It's a season of what could have been for sure. Have to flush it and move on to next opponent.

He says the season isn't over. They have to stay together and get back in the fight this week. Went through this in 2010.

Swinney says there are better days ahead...just have to stay the course. He has no doubt that they are learning some valuable lessons. Lot of wins coming their way

Inlet tigger, do you realize the course can change mid-season for any team? Go back and study our seasons. Stuff happens. Put your trust in this staff. The sky isn’t falling.

Wow. You’re right, it hasn’t fallen; it already fell. Put trust in a staff where only two position coaches have actual coaching experience?! Mike Reed and G Riley. Goodwin was an analyst, Spiller a GA, Thomas Austin a Ga and one year coaching Ga St o line abysmally, Grisham - GA, Cole Stoudt: GA to offensive player development coordinator, and the list goes on and on. Name one coaching staff built from GA’s with a successful outcome. I can’t either. This program has degraded since the last Natty. TL should have won two or three. Promoting from within made the program regress year after year. The worst part is that he talent increased and on field product got worse. 7-7 last 14 games. Ten wins isn’t what I expect out of the second highest paid head coach. We probably won’t make a bowl game. You’re insane if you think we beat ND, UNC, Ga Tech, or USuCk. I expect consistency and relevancy when the coach is paid $30k a week and has NFL talent all over the field. Look at DJ, he sits at #7 overall in QBR. We have a staff problem. Have had one since Elliot and Scott were promoted from within. Scott did a decent job. Elliot did not.
On another note, I have some ocean front property in Arizona you might be interested in. 🤣

I’d sincerely like to know what would make you trust in this staff? Maybe you haven’t watched any of the games this season. In that case, maybe your statement makes sense. Otherwise, there’s no reason to have any trust in this staff.

The positive is this team fought after falling down 24-7. Showed a lot of character, both players and staff

Scary thing is this NCSU team sucks too. Sorry some people on here are too sensitive to admit that. SUCKS BAD
The talent differential between the two is quite large. To be down that much to such an inferior opponent speaks volumes. If this was a one off,…. you could explain it away as an offf day.

Praises the defense, good job on third down, three sacks, two big plays. Offense was good in the redzone, two TDs and a field goal. Several missed plays they had an opportunity to hit. Just not good enough. A tough, tough night, have to flush it

Now that’s a legitimate sports question he’s had time to review and should have an answer to but nobody will dare ask it and if they do he will say some nonsense about how that didn’t lose them the game.

This is the correct response to fans…..should’ve taken this approach two weeks ago instead of the whole 98.5%/1.5% crap that became a national narrative for zero reason. Totally Self inflicted. Glad he has made a course correction….kudos to Dabo
This is more like the way he was in 2010… Since he brought it up

On Will Shipley, everything checked out, he is in concussion protocol. They were worried about neck scans but all that came back normal. He has no idea where Ship will be in the protocol. They will just have to see where he is. He will have to see if any of the guys that were out last week can be back this week

On Cade Klubnik, Swinney says Cade would be better if there was a more consistent running game. Really inefficient in run game two games in a row.

Caldwell never had any great OLs either. He did recruit well though, seemed like he was a draw for good OL prospects (they never did develop physically though, S&C I'm looking at you).

On the final possession, some things they wish they could have done better. They were trying to get into position where they could throw to the endzone a few times. They had to waste a timeout to save the 10 second runoff.

Just limit their possessions and hope for a toss up at the end. Best 4-yard plays need to be on the table this week. We’ll need 96 of them.

On the kicking game, Gunn has had a chance to kick in practice and it hasn't been close (Weitz has been better). Gunn has been back at it for a couple of weeks but hasn't been good enough

Thanks David, for all of your coverage. Question to these Coach TNETTERS, How many of y’all were sitting in Death Valley in 1980? Danny Ford was coaching and CU went 6-5. Fire Danny! Fire Danny!! What happened the following season? Come on people!! Stand by the Tigers!

I recall the 1985 season as well with Coach Ford and a 6-6 record that was not at all what was expected of the program. We had some great players on that roster. The following years we had several 10-2 seasons before Ford resigned. We all know how great Clemson football was after that!
I’m not ready to join the fire Dabo club. Really ridiculous to even suggest it at this point. Many aspects of college football are different but I think fans should give him the opportunity to get us back on track.

...then I listened to the conference and heard Dabo speak those words.
It is clear to me he is aware there is a problem. He's not laboring under the assumption that it's just bad breaks and next year things will be different.
I suspect he has a good idea of what the problems are, and what changes need to be made to remedy them. But, he also understands he can't just blow up what it has taken 15 years to build. (You don't use a butcher knife to remove an appendix.)

Does Dabo not know what is wrong with the team, or does he know and is unwilling to say?
