I was just listening to an interview with Rob Schneider, and the podcaster asked him about his friendship with Adam Sandler. He replied, “He’s the best guy. He’s always looked out for me and others he’s close too.”
Then it hit me….That is Dabo!
Think about it. Who in the $&/@ would hire Rob Schneider on their film other than a friend of his? Who would hire the greater majority of the people in his movies?
Who the #### would hire the majority of these coaches on Clemson’s staff other than a friend? Will anyone else hire them if they ever left Clemson football?
Further analogy:
Adam Sandler had one great decade of movies, and the rest has been embarrassing and stupid (that is not funny).
Dabo has had one decade of success. And now…well, it’s been Clemson football in the 2020s.
Adam Sandler is filthy rich despite putting out garbage quality movies in the latter part of his career.
Dabo Swinney is filthy rich despite putting out garbage quality football teams in the latter part of his career.

first of all Rob Schneider is funny; dude’s been in 66 movies most of which had nothing to do with Sandler. It’s like saying no one else woulda let Nick Eason coach defensive line; except the Cleveland Browns, Tennessee Titans, Cincinnati Bengals and Auburn tigers.
We are all disappointed in the season, we all wish Dabo would make some changes, we DON’T all take personal shots at our coaches. Only self indulgent losers do that.

Tell me where the analogy fails.
Particularly in regards to both making vast sums of money regardless of the production quality, the reality of a cult following despite the product, and the fact that both men are laughed at. And by the way, they’re not laughing with Dabo across sports media right now.

I truly enjoyed murder mystery. Now Happy Gilmore 2 was straight dog water. Didn’t expect much because the first one was eh, but he has made some good movies throughout the years. Did a great job in Leo.
