Dabo slowly having to fix his mistakes from the last

3 years. He started last year with the new OC and also letting go of friend Lemanaky Hall, and also hiring Luke over inexperienced Austin. If he indeed is removing Goodwin and Conn then he is almost fixed the coaching staff. I believe Spiller and at least one of Richardson or Grisham should go as well but I would be ok with just what he is doing on Defense. Also seems like he didn’t really do any fall back friends and family scholly offers this year either for the first time. He is stubborn and proud so it takes him a while to admit mistakes everyone clearly sees but glad it’s all happening. Should be some momentum heading into LSU. Wouldn’t it be nice to add the new DC, a good Lb coach, and maybe replace Richardson with Jeff Scott? (He may never want to coach again with his new gig he has)

Why would Richardson go? The production from tightened room has been great and so has the recruiting at that position. Young great coach in the making and getting groomed.

I think Dabo was too confident in the program and believed he had the coaches he needed already on-staff. He ended up being wrong on how ready they were, but has taken the steps to resolve that. He’s also learning the new landscape with NIL and the transfer portal. I feel like we’ve got a special 2025 coming up

So He has never won less than 9 Games .
Won a Bowl Game and won a conference Championship all in this stretch that all of you think He has forgotten how to coach or made such horrible choices or the program has fallen so far.
I just wish everyone would remember who it was that Got Clemson to the place that 10 win conference championship seasons seems like failing!

Do I want Clemson to win A Natty again yes!
Win every game they ever play yes!
But I do thinks that a very lofty goal and a standard no one has Eve or will ever reach!

Enough with the sunshine pumping. Dabo is human and makes mistakes and we as fans are allowed to call that (and him) out. Quit the Dabo demigod idolatry.

He was, and nothing can change the facts of what he has accomplished.

We can also list the facts of the recent years and see the trend has been down, including win totals but also offensive efficiency, defense this year, etc.

Both can be true, but what has been accomplished only works if you continue accomplishing.

The TEs have been pretty solid. I don’t see any reason to part with Richardson. Grisham I would have agreed with last year but the WRs made major strides this year

Great athlete. I feel the others are average at best (that’s mostly due to average recruiting at the position) Davis Allen was pretty good of course but was that Richardson? I just feel with what we have done in the last 10 years and what our staff is paid we can do better than a guy who is not a dynamic recruiter and could potentially open a spot for Jeff Scott if he wants to coach again. He was a high school coach and 6 year analyst here. Kind of very similar to Wes Goodwin. I’m not in the building of course so I could be completely off. Just perception. He is the passing game coordinator and against most good defenses the last 3 years we have been pretty bad. That’s not an opinion.

Fixed his mistakes, He is either the most successful coach or 2nd most successful coach of the last 20 years of any sport at any level and you act like you know more than him!!
It’s not that Dabo or anyone else can’t make a mistake it the arrogant attitude that you think you know more or could have done better!!
( of course in the Grand Scheme of things He may not have made a mistake at all!)

OP nor any fan that questions some of Dabo’s decisions to thinks we can coach better.

For me I had my concerns at some of these hires but I trusted Dabo. Unfortunately Dabo made some bad hires. Some of yall get so defensive over Dabo. Reality is he’s made some bad hires and has also had to swallow his pride and use the portal.

And anyone not blinded have seen this. It’s well talked about here. He will now have replaced at least 4 coaches he promoted nearly the same time 3 years ago when most people saw the wheels start falling off. We have all talked about there being 6-7 guys with 0 to no on field coaching exp getting jobs nearly at the same time. This not a stretch. That and the friends and family offers to fallbacks during that same time frame have been the mistakes. He is slowly fixing them like I said. If it wasn’t mistakes he wouldn’t be replacing all these same coaches these last 14 months and no offers to family’s kids. Winning 9 games with our schedule should be the floor, and that’s kind of where we have been.

For 8 years, you are never really done. I’ve owned several business now for the last 15 years (still own them all) and I still talk with college coaches all the time, go to practices and miss parts of it. I just make a really good living, Have great freedom and in a diffenet place right now with my family, but that didn’t happen in year two of being out of coaching. I get it, he is doing well there right now but you never know. In two more years yes can stop talking about him. We are still better off today with him coaching at Clemson that with him not, so that’s just something I said would be a great thing to happen. You are right more likely not but it’s better than the current.

Being human we definitely all make mistakes. I also found that it’s easier to notice them more with my hindsight being 20/20.

Grisham has bought himself some leash with the success of the two freshmen receivers and Williams and brown. The WR room is as solid as it's been in a while. No need to rock the boat there. He's been signing 4 stars and fringe 5 stars, they just haven't worked out unfortunately.

He’s not stubborn or proud, he’s human like the rest of us. He does his due diligence to make the right decisions for Clemson and his program, contrary to what I or Tigernet thinks. Give the man a break , he ALWAYS is going to do what he thinks will improve this team first and foremost.I get frustrated and mad as the rest of us, but one thing I’m not concerned about is his ability to run a football program that wins the right way on and off the field. He’s proven that without a doubt. Go Tigers , All In all the time.
