Toss. DEFER! Why not set the tone early? Let them punt to us and go down for TD. Plus tigers always get out performed by other teams punter. Our guy punts 35 yarders. Their guy kicks 55-60 yarders. Dabo fire yourself.

You go defense. Taking the ball after winning the coin toss today made no sense. What’s the best that can happen? You go up 7-0 in the first quarter. Nobody can come back from that, right?

The chance to get 2 straight possessions before and after halftime should always be the goal. No matter how great an offense you might have.

I think he wanted the ball first because he came in thinking he really had something on offense, which makes you question if he really understands what he has.

When a coach makes that call, I look at it like a trick play.

To me, it means you don't think you can play toe to toe with your opponent and you need to do something like a miracle to have a chance.

It goes against every logical and analytical thinking.

Having the ball to close the half, and getting it after the half after you have a halftime to go into the locker room to make adjustments is huge.

When Dabo won the toss and elected to receive, to me, said everything I needed to know about our chances to compete today.
