D-Coordinator Options?

I love Cade Klubnik
I love TJ Moore
I love Sammy Brown
And the other players that showed true strength through adversity.
Clemson made it a one xl score game after being down 31-10. A great second half honestly.
But a tale of two halves.
Again, it was another game where a few plays truly made the difference. Even though they ran all over us.
I really think Riley is fine right now. We showed scoring ability and explosive plays.
I TRULY THINK THE PIECES ARE COKING BACK TOGETHER.
Get some more transfers maybe and find a defensive coordinator fit for the job, we’re back to where we were.
Anybody in mind?

The players have to make plays but it’s apparent to me that our DC doesn’t know how to fundamentals like tackling. He’s not good at in game adjustments and gets out coached most of the time in the second half.

Goodwin needs to be CO-DC or an analyst, not in charge. Agree he doesn’t adjust well if the opponent doesn’t do what he expects.

It is tackling most of all
Tackling would’ve saved at least the SCar loss with the Sellers run and all the items he escaped. There’s too many examples to write about.
But the playcalling as well.
The TD their RB scored, I think the first TD they had, our d line all shifted the opposite way of the run. And the running back had an open 20 yards to the end zone.
What is that?

Lets not give Conn a pass

He’s supposed to be the “coordinator” while Wes calls the plays.
Wes doing a pretty mediocre job in both his capacities, but Conn is the one who is supposed to call that spade and hold the other coaches accountable (everyone’s tackling, getting off blocks, etc.).
