in football AND soccer in person. Three of the five in the dsgriff household have.
Extra credit to anyone who has seen us do it in both of those plus any other sport. None of us have done that.

And consider myself blessed to have been here during these times! Ibrahim and Ford were a great combo. Now we have Dabo and Noonan! Wow!

I'm one of the few Tiger fans/grads lucky enough to see Clemson defeat Indiana in the King Dome, Seattle, Washington for the NCAA Soccer National Championship in 1984. (Uncle Sam had sent me to Fort Lewis near Tacoma, so...)

Haha me too! I was over on North Fort in the 9th Chemical Co. from 84-86. I was in the Kingdome with an army friend who had a car. I’ve still got my ticket stub. What a dank, dark building that Kingdome was - saw a Mariners game there too but never a Seahawks game.

My daughter saw ‘em lose to Bama in Arizona, but win the following year in Tampa.

I was at the soccer national championship game at Clemson in 1984. They actually played it on Riggs field.

Wait now, he PLAYED on the ‘84 team. Sorry to break it to ya, but attending a game is cool and all (I was at 2 myself), but actually playing a varsity sport doesn’t make him one of these people with no life outside of watching sports. Going to a game does not make you an actual particant…BUT maybe we are on to something - just because you were at a game, does not make you a player. Sorry. Gosh I hope all of the fans don’t get butt hurt when they find out that they weren’t actually players, in spite of their sitting at the game. Looking in the wrong end of the telescope is fun, but doesn’t make you an astronomer.

standing on the sidewalk up on Highway 93 (Old Greenville Highway). That's no longer an option with the recent renovations and landscaping work at Riggs Field.
