Clemson has gone from WRU.......to absolute dookie (21&22) some of that was play calling, some of that was injuries, alot was the QB, and talent just fell off with misses in recruiting.
but now we have climbed back up, i would say only ohio state is ahead of us right now in WR top in skill/production. LSU and Bama fell off a little bit and we rose up at WR.
i would say right now 1. ohio state 2. clemson 3. ole miss top 3 wr schools

I do love our WR group. I'd say Colorado has a pretty dang good group. Oregon does as well. Miami is also pretty dang good. Idk that we are top 3 but I wouldn't trade Williams and Wesco for anybody.

All of these teams have multiple higher ranked WRs than Clemson
Ohio St
Oregon
Ole Miss
Mizzou
Iowa State !?!
This doesn’t even include top WRs at places like Alabama either.

following the 3 where we fell off the map but it's a good bounce back year for sure. Fwiw, NFLMocks has an article ranking which schools currently have the best wrs in the NFL/produce the best NFL caliber talent at the WR position; they have us at #2 behind only LSU which I thought was fair-

Brown is pretty good, but as far as returners Williams is a notch ahead of him. Brown had 52 catches for 532 and 5tds, where Williams had 788 yards and ten Td's his second full year in action. Moving forward, he will have a tough time beating out Wesco(678 yards as a true frosh) and Williams.

Brown should be able to find his niche on the team when healthy. Nobody else on the team can replace Stellato in playoffs plus Turner is not as good as Brown. Right now as WRs we have Wesco, Moore, AW, Brown, Turner, Randall, Kelly and thats really it with more than 10 plays. I think Brown has to be an asset against Texas as I don't see Kelly, Swinney, Earle, or even Turner really being a big help based on the season, maybe Randall can offer some big plays again.
