He could take a page from CJ Spiller and his seemingly endless battle with turf toe.

At some point, injections don't help. Depending on how bad the sprain / tear is, continued overuse could cause it to swell so much that it's function is disturbed. It's not all about pain tolerance.

It's not a tear....it's a bruised/strained MCL. Pain injections are fine & he'll be good to go! Media is hyping it much bigger than it is & Shaq is playing along with it. Under promise, over deliver is the age old adage!

If it was that simple, Ray Ray wouldn't have sat out three weeks with the same injury. He was still limping somewhat at Saturdays practice. Hoping for the best, but not expecting him to be near his normal self

It's become a one-game-season ... I believe Ray Ray was more

expendable and sat out because while he's a great player, he wasn't as integral to the team as Shaq Lawson.
We won't see 100% Shaq Lawson tomorrow for sure.
Hopefully he'll give the defense a "Willis Reed" type of lift by his presence on the field and his determination.

Not sure what you mean by pain injection. He will likely get

a lidocaine infection before the game. In this short time it was likely more beneficial to see how bad his pain was and just nurse it to get as good as it can get. Injections all week could've caused harm. However. A few on Monday likely won't hurt anything. I'll bet he gets one before the game and he may need more as game goes on. He will be sore on Tuesday I'll bet but then has time to rehab appropriately. Would be harder to keep him out of this game then to run your QB straight at him and expect to gain yards. Go Shaq, Go Tigers!

Man this injury is getting more serious by the minute. Now he has to battle getting an infection from lidocaine? Lol. Can we just strap him to a cart and drive it into Coker and Henry? ^_^

If Lawson Is Going To Have Limitations ...----

Then they should start Lawson to see how he feels. If it feels not that great then use Lawson on 2nd or 3rd down situations to keep his pain to a minimum plus keep strength in that bad leg. Or they can just start Bryant and have Lawson come in on 3rd down situations only.

Shaq is a warrior! Henry and Coker will get a personal introduction to him early and often.
