Amazing how some so called Americans see nothing wrong with someone kneeling during the national anthem. Pathetic.

It's incredible how people get upset with him taking a knee, when it was a military person that told him to do that as a more respectful way than just staying seated. Do you claim that same amount of disrespect when someone doesn't remove their hat or put their hand over their heart for the pledge? What about the people who don't bow their heads or put their hands together during a prayer? I willing to bet that most of the people that complain about him kneeling don't even give a #### about the military. I am ex military and I don't have a problem with it.

A - some random military person doesn’t speak for the military
B - “more respectful” than “very disrespectful” is still not respectful

I’m retired military and it offends the heck out of me! To many good Americans died for that flag, and if you’re going to live here and prosper after their sacrifice then you d#mn well ought to stand for the Anthem and Flag!

But wasn’t the whole point of Americans dying in wars to protect our Democracy and our liberties, one example of which would be how you choose to observe the national anthem?
Feel free to be offended, but try to remember that it’s strictly your opinion and it doesn’t amount to much compared to the civil liberties afforded to us by the Bill of Rights.

It's amazing how a man making millions, in still the greatest country in the world, disrespects his team, fans, along with his country.
Time & proper procedures for everthing... Dont insert politics in my entertainment, which is made to be a distraction for all the bullzzshit in this world..There are also choices if you don't like your personal situation...Plenty, free country
I actually was a fan of him, dating back to his sophomore year @ Nevada...
Where's he now?

The problem with that, is that America IS NOT the greatest country in the world. And its far from the most free country. But it used to be, and it could be again, if everyone gets their head out of their ##### and works together towards a common goal. but no everyone, right and left, get emotional over differing opinions instead of debating and finding a solution.

Name a country that is better and have you actually visited said country? What are the top 3 things that make it better?
I have been all over the world, 6 continents only missing Antarctica. Out of all the countries I visited, only one would meet my criteria for living in and even it has some laws that prevent some of the same freedoms as US.
So please tell which country or countries are better?

We've surrendered a bunch of freedoms over the years, most missed, without people realizing, it's called creeping incrementalization. You take many freedoms from a free society in one year? There will be a civil war. Do it over 50 years, sheep will still stand in line to be sheared...
Only a couple of countries come to mind as potentially better places to live. Sweden, yea that straight blonde uhh-huh, cost of living would be a deal breaker, perhaps it's worth it though. Potentially Norway.

Have read recently that gang violence has surged in Sweden, and they have the highest rates of gun violence deaths in the European Union. Not quite the utopia that it used to be.

I can't remember anyone on the left getting upset over kneeling.
But "Snowflakes" is a slang term that conservatives use to deride people on the left who can't control themselves (i.e. "karens, beta males, paid protestors, etc...).
The people who were cool with the kneeling are the deranged marxists in our midst. Thanks for identifying yourself to TNET.

I can't see that he gets more. This is a locker room cancer now. The players are resenting he missed practice the day before the Orange and White spring game. Yes, its tomorrow. Tennessee has two five star QB's on the team right now and another five star coming in. Yep, three five star guys. Nico didn't have a stellar season last year deserving a raise. He has lost the fans. They want him gone. If he did play tomorrow, which I don't think our coach will let him for missing the walk through, he will be constantly booed. Next man up is what the fans say. One coach said they wouldn't blink an eye if he leaves.

Maybe those three 5 stars with no experience are better than the one you gave 8 million bucks to.
Maybe they won’t want to get paid as much either.
Who knows.

It's getting dicey, as far as the greatest country. Suppose, it depends on your definition of the term "great" describing a nation. You're not simply describing one aspect of it, but it as a whole. That varies with each individual.
Say this, I'm 48, this country is no where near what it was 20-25 years ago. Too much division.
Division will always be present, that's people, division should never be planned as that is the case now with social media, the msm, government, it's everywhere. Race v Race, donkeys vs elephants etc
It's really just a microcosm of what the powers that be report. All the networks, visual & talk, are owned by FOUR conglomerates. Makes no difference if you watch Fox or CNN. Same EXACT stories reported on all networks. Slightly different spin on each, to soothe your appetite.

Yes, in an "unofficial" way.

There are no rules now. Tampering is done openly.
Last week in an interview Tommy Castellanos was asked about the portal and how it worked for him. It was basically, "Take us through the process of how the portal process worked for you."
He replied, "Well it was Auburn that talked to me about transferring. I was all in on Auburn, that was my school. Then, I entered the portal and got a phone call from Coach Norvell."
Anybody who thinks Cade Klubnick's agent didn't get several phone calls trying to convince him to enter the portal is naive. Same with probably 20 other guys on Clemson's squad. Nobody is even trying to stop tampering. Players on every school in the country are being contacted prior to entering the portal.
So, take Nico's position. He clearly wants to transfer. Let's say TN needs a WR. So, Nico's agent contacts the agent of some AA WR. The two agents work out an "unofficial" agreement where The two guys will enter the portal and transfer to the other school. Technically not a trade, but the agents and the GMs of each school worked out all the arrangements.
A close analogy would be when the NBA does a "sign and trade" agreement with a player.
