1. We didn't need to buy the land for the complex 2. We didn't have to grade 3. Our IPF is a freaking Tajh Mahal compared to a lot of schools 4. We are done with that project and moving on to bigger and better things. You can ride in our wake if you would like

They have to tear down dilapidated warehouses, raze the crack houses and run off the $10 ###### before they can begin to build. No wonder their expense is higher.

I imagine the Coot facility will be no better than life. We were in a situation where we essentially put our facility over an existing turf field. Little or no grading was required. That saved countless amount of money

SEC money, of course. Remember, though: a percentage of that difference very well may be that to build where they want and in Columbia, no less, costs more. I would guess that the exact same facility we have would cost more if put up down there.

Well, I went to research it and it will be 5000 more Sq'. That being said it may cost more for the grading but that area is already when I worked around the Farmers market. The coots get a lot more form the SEC. I hope we can still get in one day or get to B12.

They had one since 96. 80 yards. LOL! But, it looks like it had started to become multi use Crap. I had to do some HVAC there and it was looking bad.

lmao. Dude your hilarious. Clemson didn't choose to put money into a bigger scoreboard. We got bigger fish to fry than some scoreboard that is probably going to be outdated in 5 years.
We are talking building actual facilities. Not putting TVs on them

It's part of the old Farmer's Market property. No grading required. 17.5 million is the actual construction estimate but if it's like every other project this size lately, it'll be about 21-22 mil when completed in late 2014.

They'll have to put it up and tear it down several times just to get it square. Or maybe they'll hire a specialist that can read a tape measure. Also those automated chicken feeders are pricey

This is just how much they are going to have to spend to refurbish the asphalt, concrete, and barbed wire in the area they are building as well as getting rid of the drug dealers, prostitutes and generally cleaning of the area. I think 3 tons have bleach have been ordered so far...

Hoars pimped out as a cheap date in place of the SEC high-dollar call girls.
It's called John-money sharing.
It's also notable that they will spend more than that on site preprations for their new building. It cost a lot to dump contaminated soil these days. DHEC and the EPA is all over human waste dumps like they started with there.
