I hope the Coots enjoy the Roadside Assistance Bowl in Shreveport

or whatever bowl they are playing in. I kinda hope they win and grown Coot men run to the center of the field, take off their belts and whip the ground while they dance around like idiots. To me that explains to the world their fan base.

Sellers was a beast in the run game, much as it pains me fo admit. I'd rather give credit where it's due than make up lame excuses.

Contrary to most of our still-shell shocked / ‘how did we lose to S.Carolina’ m8ndset, Sellers is not blazing fast.
I forget exactly when this happened, but during one of what seemed to be endless Sellers scrambles for big yards (this was one where Sellers was racing down the right sideline), a Clemson defender quickly overcame a ~5 yard difference … while Sellers was running at full speed … and caught + solo tackled Sellers.
The Clemson defender who performed this eye-popping deed wasn’t a DB. It was Sammy Brown. Sellers got tackled at about the 20 yard line. He was on his way to an uncontested TD had Sammy not tracked him down.

Carolina’s only offense was on broken plays. Other than that we contained them pretty well.

I heard that when we played them in ACCCG. I won a lot of bets against COOTS on that game. I don’t bet money, however I have six single beers waiting for me. I bet them the game would come down to a late FG and that SMU would lose close or win close. They all bet Clemson by double digits. SMU could beat the brakes of State Pen. State Pen is built on the run and SMU is STINGY against the run. Go Ponies!

But they probably assume its normal for them to be in the top 25, its been transfers that's got most of those teams there. SMU is just the Miami Hurricanes from the last couple years.
