Call ins aren't going to be allowed win OR lose either way. So I don't think your point about it only being "in time for UGA" makes sense.
And regardless, if you were trying to run your program and keep out all of the outside noise, wouldn't you also want to get rid of stuff like this?
Even if you think fan opinions are important for a coach to take in, it's not like one person calling in is going to properly represent them all. Coach has a computer just like us if he really wants to see that.

Why would someone as a coach want to continue with all of this outside noise and distraction when trying to run their program? He can see public opinion online if he really wants it anyway. Running a football program isn't the same as being a presidential candidate.

Because those events are a completely different atmosphere than an off the cuff call in. A random guy with a few too many on his couch over a phone call is nothing compared to someone who actually has to dress up and look the coach in the face at a fancy event.

Ok, so like I've been a clemson fan for a long time... and you know, like I know times have changed from the 80's....you know like they would run the ball a lot more then and when they did, you know, throw the ball, you know, like a lot of times it would be a short out pass and you know it was great when they threw it long... like a bomb... and you know, like last year the year didn't start out very well....

Reasonable questions - yes. Silly rants - no. If you are moderating the questions at all (and you should, to not waste listeners’ time) you are doing a form of cherry picking.
One person’s hard question can be a slam dunk from Dabo’s perspective. It can also be simply moronic.
