Curious to see how he runs the offense out of the pocket, instead of Cade getting happy feet and scrambling to his right on every snap. Yeah, it's Troy. But still, one can tell a lot by seeing how the players respond.

just as spring games forshadow regular season openers the season openers game plan will forshadow the next games
We will literally see nothing different against Troy.
we will only progress deeper into our play counts
even the rotations will be the same and will adhere to play count number

Hey, when your starting RB is a former WR that did not meet expectations. and your starting TE is a former basketball player... those are signs there is big hole in recruiting. No excuses for the Cade.. the guy should be running this offense on his own by now. Telling coaches what is working and what is not.
the ranking is a result of media hype. This offense is inept. With the amount of players returning and they still dont get it.

I missed than Ian was already promoted to STARTING TE. I thought he was still 3rd string at best.

Yeah you obviously dont know #### if you think ian is starting a TE. I would argue TE is the best and deepest position on this offense.

I guess you didn't watch the game. Adam was actually having some success running the ball but we totally went away from the run. Not his fault!

TNet has ######## that cannot fathom a position change among offensive skill players. These guys reveal themselves as neophyte fans.
GA Tech, which has a powerful run game, uses a former WR as their top RB. Jamal Haynes ran for a net of nearly 1000 yards last year. He is starting again this year. Guess what else J.Haynes brings to the GA Tech offense in this modern age if CFB? The ability to catch passes.

Vizzina won't fix anything. The offense stinks and Reilly is the most overpaid human on Earth.

I think we all hope that.
We can point fingers all over the place, but we have a completely unnerved qb (again) that has all the skills but doesn't have it between the ears.
Put Tajh or Kelly Bryant on the 2021-2024 teams and a lot of the questions of play calling go away.
Side note - Cade looks exactly like Kyle Parker post injury when he does that rolling to the right crap.

I had visions of Parker on Saturday.....it seemed Cade bailed out to his right on every, single snap....he had Brown wide open for a TD and didn't even look at him....he's playing scared.

As to your last sentence, it was like Deja vu all over again. I thought he had finally kicked that habit by the beginn8ng of last season. Just goes to show that old habits die hard.

It appears to me the first team needs all the reps they can get.
QB2 will get his shot. But first we need perfect execution from the first team

Agree, so hopefully the first team executes well, we build a big lead and CV gets to play a good bit in Q3 because we are up by 30.

I agree.... but.... At this point after what I saw #2 needs all the reps he can get. I say flex. Run the score up and take out some frustrations.

Vizzina can spin it. Curious to see how he connects with our receivers. Cade is consistently overthrowing the ball, or throwing behind receivers.

Vizzina until the final 10 minutes, maybe for 2-3 full series. I sincerely hope they surprise me and prove me wrong.

I would rather see Denson at this point. Vizzina hasn't shown much in his time here.

You can't show anything by sitting on the bench other than you can warm a spot on the bench. Please enlighten us on all the playing time Viz has had to show us he can't play QB. Maybe you have him confused with with some one else on another team.

Watch him play in the spring games he has played in. Watch him in the limited mop up duty he has played in. Nothing amazing. If he were, he wouldnt be here as a backup to Cade. Denson throws a much better ball and he has wheels as well.

I agree with the ‘let’s hope to see a lot if Vizzina’ wish.
We won’t learn much about the Clemson starters on Saturday, but it is always important for our non-starters to get a lot of in-game experience.
There are a bunch of backup OL players, along with backup LBs and DBs, that I’d very much to see in some live action.
