Seems like the chances of gameday showing up twice to the same school decreased after 2007. Before that they pulled the double 18 times. 2007 was the last year they appeared at the same school twice and they did it at two schools that season.

Stanford UCLA is that day. But also, in just 2 weeks, Stanford is playing Washington in Palo Alto. And that could also be a Gameday game. If they go to Palo Alto for that week (it's a chance, there's only 1 other ranked matchup that week), I don't think they'd want to return to Stanford in just 2 weeks for the UCLA game. And that would leave our game as the obvious choice.

they play Alabama, Auburn, and A&M between now and then. They'll either drop out of the rankings or move way up depending on the outcomes of those three games.

If UCLA and Stanford are both unbeaten, then that will probably be where they go. For them to pick Clemson again it would have to be an overwhelming choice over any other game.

Stanford has ANOTHER Gameday worthy game against Washington in 2 weeks. If Gameday goes to that game, it is not likely they will return to Stanford for the UCLA game 2 weeks prior to already being there. They would come here.

At this moment yes, that doesn't mean Stanford and UCLA won't be a top 10 matchup that week tho. Just have to wait and see what happens.

Don't think that will happen, Gameday has been to Columbia too much and it isn't as picturesque as Clemson etc

But the truth is I don't think they should double up during the season. There is a lot of college football out there, I think sometimes ESPN gets too narrowly focused (like when they show the Bama highlights three times in the 30 minute show). I would rather see highlights from as many college games as possible.
I love the fact they went to N. Dakota last week.

If they base it on the bad GAMEDAY signs Clemson fans displayed then I say no. I read 2 months of ideas on TNET for ideas and saw Miley Cyrus signs scattered throughout. Really? We can do a whole lot better than that. Plus Bowman field looked pretty empty comparing back to the GT Spiller GAMEDAY event.
50/50 I'd say with the very bad signs and turn out.

I watched it on tv and you may want to reflect back to this board here on the disappointment of participation. It was no where near the GT game. And yes the signs were very bush league as the THUGA fans starting trickling up front towards the end also.
Did you not see the overhead view? Very sparse.

There were a lot of people there, but everyone was more spread out than the gameday last week when people were crammed into small side streets. There were a ton at 9am, and again from 12-1pm, but it did seem to thin out a little.

A friend of my wife's cousin who really really likes Clemson too said Gameday would come back if we were undefeated as well as FSU
She says no matter what happens across the country Clemson is not only our families favorite spot but that everyone in the world thinks it is the best too so that is why they are coming back
In fact she said ESPN wanted to permanently host Gameday at Clemson every week because it was so special but that Clemson thought it might take away from the overall beauty of the campus to have tents etc thrown up around the grounds so ESPn has to fill weeks with other less special campuses until Clemson lets them come back

Am I the only one that could care less? It was really cool for them to open the season here the way they did, and great for recruiting, but now it's time to just handle business.
Gameday is a whole production and takes a lot of focus out of everyone for the entire week. I fear the hangover will be much worse if Gameday were in town for FSU. If we're able to get past them, that MD game is one that REALLY scares me. The last thing we need is for the whole world to be on campus and tell these kids how great they are.
