You know I haven’t really scoured this recruiting class. Perfect game is the site to do so. If you give me some time I’ll look them up and give you their perfect game grades and draft outlooks

Dax Kilby is the best prospect, projected as high as 33 in the upcoming draft according to ESPN. MLB has him as the 79th best prospect, although that's not necessarily a pick prediction. The scouts say he can play anywhere in the infield, so if he ends up on campus he'd have to essentially play wherever Purify doesn't. He's projected as a slightly above average hitter, although they do say also he's the most polished prep school hitter.

Jason Fultz looks like a beast, he recorded a 104 exit velocity in game almost a year ago, and a 108 off the tee. I don't think Clemson releases exit velocities to the public, but I don't remember an exit velocity above 110 this year (again I could be way off). He looks to lift the ball so contact might be an issue, but the power is already there. I don't see him on any draft boards, so I'm assuming scouts want better swing paths out of him.

Peyton Miller is projected to be a two-way player, who’s already posted a 99-exit velocity and a 93 MPH fastball. If he can build on that fastball, he could become a staple in the bullpen next year, along with his high RPM slider, which sits around 2300. The MLB guys typically have it up around 2800, but for his age this is a good sign. Could be another power threat at 1st, depending on transfers and if Gaffney can prove his worth.

Dylan Harrison looks like he might be a better pitcher than hitter. He has very promising stuff, with the typical fastball-slider-changeup combo, but has excellent movement on his breaking pitches. The slider was noted as a “gyro slider”, indicating he might have more of a sweeper than a true slider. He also has hit 93 MPH on his fastball, showing he might be able to develop alongside Miller and find a place in the regular rotation of pitchers, bullpen or otherwise. His swing looks kind of raw, although it works, posting a 93-exit velocity. His recorded bat speed was 78.8 MPH, which would tie him for the lead in the MLB with Oneil Cruz. He might be able to refine the swing, maybe slow down the bat and get some ABs in the future if it goes well.

The rest seem either more like project pieces or don't have any information. Eston Simpson hit 94 on his fastball, so at least we're getting someone who can throw it hard already, although at 6'4" and 160lbs, he's going to have to bulk up to stay healthy. Jackson Moore doesn't have much info since 2022 so I don't think that's really useable at this point, but he has an '8' grade on PG, so it's worth noting.

Why did you leave Dax Kilby off your list? do you assume hes going pro? Its a good chance, hope Bakich can convince him to come.

I used the list on TNet, which does not include him.***

According to Perfect Game Peyton Miller, Daniel Margolies, Dylan Harrison have been clocked at 93 mph and Nicholas Frusco and Eston Simpson have gotten up to 94 mph.

They aren't throwing 96, 97, 98 where MLB teams will be sniffing around... but those those velocities were all measured in 2024, so as they get bigger and stronger we can only hope that will turn into 95, 96, 97. So hopefully these are the power arms we need on their way to campus.
