Yes he always says that.
So it’s not his fault! They practiced it while he sat there and ate twinkies. Not sure why they couldn’t do it in the game tonight. But definitely not the coach’s fault. Never.

Good to know it was the players' fault.

He also added after that is on him since he is responsible.

He adds that little line because he knows he should.
But everything else he says contradicts it.

You wouldn’t know basketball if it hit you square in the mouth. All you do every year is drivel on about Brownell and our losses.

I think tonight was the perfect storm for a bad performance. UL is hot and we are playing on the road in our 3rd game in 7 days. Lahkin was clearly still not at 100%. All that said, I’m not too concerned with the loss tonight.
What does concern me is Wiggins. He was trending towards an all acc player and has regresssed. He gave us nothing tonight, and in fact, i thought hurt us when he was in the game. On the defensive end, he was outmatched and out hustled all night. I hate to single out a player. But he’s an upperclassman and it’s time for him to step up or let Thomas/Foster get more minutes.

Voice of Reason here.
I haven't watched enough to form an opinion on Wiggins but everything else here is spot on.
Not worried about it. Likely doesn't keep us out of the big dance and we'll likely still be in it for a double bye come conference tourney time in March unless we just have a horrible streak.
Of course, people will wanna dwell on L's and claim THIS ALWAYS HAPPENS despite having a good team this year. I'll ALWAYS root for the players to win rather than a coach to lose just to see him fired.
No thanks and we're on to FSU back home Saturday.

We will be fine. We need to rest and get healthy. We will regroup and be better for it.

Right. In a season where even the best teams lose 6, 7, 8… sometimes even 10 games, a loss like tonight doesn’t really hurt. We are on pace to go 15-5 in the league and win 22-23 games with a solid non-conference resume. We are fine.

3rd game in 7 days stuff is nonsense. The entire season is based on playing 3 in 8. We play a weekday game and a weekend game. We happened to have played on Wednesday last week and on Tuesday this week. For someone who criticizes everyone they disagree with of not knowing anything about basketball this is a terrible take.

for all teams and has been for as long as I remember. You either play 3 in 7 or 3 in 8, unless you draw a midweek or weekend game off

I just didn't understand the 2nd team in there within 5 points at ten minutes left. I don't love zachery running point. He's a dog but isn't a dealer.
We were within 5 and there big man had 4 fouls. I feel like Brad was making a point.
Regardless, it wasn't good on offense.
They looked like real athletes and if you're playing that, then we need to execute. And play fast defense.
Just were flat. Disjointed. Maybe playing too many people.
